Introducing...

Sophie Lee Bazyk



Choosing a name was not as easy this time as it was with Sadie. Josh and I both have very different taste in names. I went back and forth about choosing one with the same monogram as Sadie or choosing one totally different. I have always loved the name Sophie and so has Josh. I didn't want to pick it because of its popularity though so I kept trying to come up with another option. No matter what I suggested we just didn't like it as well or it didn't sound that well with the rest of our names. I always kept coming back to Sophie. I mean how cute does that sound with Sadie?! After we saw her sweet self yesterday I just knew. She is a Sophie.

 

Her middle name was an easy choice. Not only is it the same letter as Sadie's middle name but it is Josh's middle name. It is also his mom and sister's middle name. It happens to be the middle name of some of my favorite friends as well.

 

We are so thankful for a great ultrasound yesterday. As thrilled as we are to be having another girl we are even more thrilled she is growing and is healthy. Thank you, Lord!

Lately

We've been a little sick here the past few weeks. Josh, Sadie, and I have all had colds, etc. Hopefully we will all be well soon.

Thanksgiving Vacation

I have a lot of pictures from our Thanksgiving vacation to the beach but the likelihood of me getting them off my camera any time soon is slim. For now here are pics from my phone. We had a great time!

The condo was perfect. Sadie picked out her spot right away. She loved sliding off the bottom.


She wasn't happy we wouldn't let her stick her arms and legs through the balcony railing. Bless her heart. Mean momma and daddy.


The views were amazing. Every view, inside and out, was of the ocean.

The first morning it was pretty cool but the weather ended up being perfect for the week.


Sadie was obsessed with the sand and water.


She had no fear. This was her 3rd vacation to the beach (lucky little lady) and by far her favorite as far as the sand and ocean are concerned.


My parents let us (and my sister) enjoy dinner one night without the kids. It was heavenly.

All week Sadie asked for cake so I made her cupcakes.


No Orange Beach vacation is complete without a trip to Tacky Jack's.

Thanksgiving Day was wonderful.


I had quite the view while enjoying my yummy Cracker Barrel lunch.


The day-after-Thanksgiving tradition continues. The kids received Christmas pjs and Christmas books.
